  • 2 1/2 tsp chili powder, divided
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 small onion (red or sweet vadalia), thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz) can chili beans, rinsed & drained (Bush's)
  • salt & fresh ground pepper
  • scallions, chopped
  • reduced fat sour cream
  • low fat cheddar cheese
