  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 4 medium onions, chopped
  • 56 ounces whole tomatoes
  • 30 ounces dark red kidney beans
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 12 tablespoons chili powder
  • 12 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 12 tablespoon salt
  • 34 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Fry ground beef with onion in an 8 qt pot over medium heat.

    stirring occasonally, until ground beef is brown.

    Stir in all the ingredients.

    Break up the tomatoes gentley (I use a potatoes masher).

    Heat to a boil and then reduce heat.

    Simmer uncovered for 1.25 hours.
