- 1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 can red beans
- 1 onion (chopped fine)
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 2 c. water
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder or more to taste
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. corn starch (mixed with 1/4 c. water)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- macaroni or spaghetti if desired
Directions

1Brown beef with onion, salt to taste.

2Mix together beans, tomato juice, water, and spices.

3Add drained beef to rest of ingredients.

4Simmer for 30 minutes.

5After 30 minutes, add corn starch mixed with water.

6Cook until desired thickness.

7Add spaghetti or macaroni.
