Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1In a large kettle, brown ground beef.

2Drain and set aside. In the same kettle, heat oil; saute garlic and onions over low heat until onions are tender.

3Stir in green pepper, salt, chili powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, cumin, and oregano.

4Cook for 2 minutes, stirring until well mixed.

5Add beef and tomatoes with liquid.

6Dissolve bouillon in water

7and add to soup.

8Simmer, covered, for about 1 hour.

9Yield 8-10 servings.
