- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 6 Tbsp. chili powder
- cayenne to taste
- salt to taste
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown meat in cast-iron pot; drain well and return to stove. Add tomato sauce and 1 1/2 cups water; simmer.

2Add chili powder and all herbs.

3Mix well and allow to cook for about 10 minutes. Add salt and cayenne pepper to taste; allow to simmer until thick. Add sugar and cook for few minutes longer.

4Serves 10 to 12 people.
