- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder or season to taste
- 1 (22 oz.) can Brooks chili beans or other brand
Directions

1In a large pan, brown ground beef with onion and chili powder, until the onion is translucent.

2Drain off grease.

3Add remaining ingredients and mix.

4Cover and bring to a low boil.

5Reduce heat; let simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
