Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
  • green pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can light red kidney beans, drained

Directions

    Saute onion, green pepper and garlic powder in small amount of cooking oil.

    Combine all ingredients, except tomato sauce, in heavy skillet.

    Cook until meat loses its pink color and onions become transparent.

    Add tomato sauce and simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour.

    Can add more chili powder.
