- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
- green pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can light red kidney beans, drained
Directions

1Saute onion, green pepper and garlic powder in small amount of cooking oil.

2Combine all ingredients, except tomato sauce, in heavy skillet.

3Cook until meat loses its pink color and onions become transparent.

4Add tomato sauce and simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour.

5Can add more chili powder.
