- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 2 to 2 1/2 lb. hamburger or ground deer
- 2 to 2 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
- cooking oil
- onion and salt to taste
- sprinkle of red pepper
- garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 or 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Cook pinto beans on low heat

2with salt for 4 to 6 hours. Check every hour, add water, if necessary.

3Brown hamburger or deer and spoon off grease.

4Replace half grease with cooking oil and onion and salt to taste.

5Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour.
