- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. flour
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 can kidney or red beans
Directions

1Brown ground beef and onion.

2Drain fat.

3Add to beef the garlic, salt, sugar, pepper, chili powder, cumin and flour.

4Add tomato sauce and tomatoes;

5cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

6Add beans and simmer 10 minutes more.
