- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic buds, minced
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. minced hot red pepper
- salt to taste
Directions

1Saute ground beef, onion and garlic buds in butter until ground beef is no longer pink.

2Add other ingredients.

3Cook slowly for 2 hours or longer.

4Cooked or canned red kidney beans may be added after chili is cooked.
