  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (40 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (30 oz.) can chili beans
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

    Brown ground beef and onion; drain.

    Set aside.

    Combine tomato juice, vegetable oil, chili beans, chili powder, salt and pepper.

    Add hamburger and onion.

    Let simmer for 1 hour.

    Serves 8 to 10.
