  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large chopped white onion
  • 3/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (26 oz.) can whole tomatoes with juice
  • 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) can precooked red chili beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
  • pinch of cayenne pepper

Directions

    In a frying pan brown ground beef with chopped onion and green pepper.

    Strain all grease and transfer to large stewing pot.

    Add all remaining ingredients and cover the pot.

    Cook on medium-high heat for one hour.

    Stir frequently.
