Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 2 or 3 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • butter
  • 1 tsp. chili powder

Directions

    Fry butter, onions and peppers until brown.

    Then combine butter, onions and peppers with remaining ingredients in a large saucepan.

    Cook on low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
