- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh shrimp, cooked, shelled and deveined
- 1 (7 3/4 oz.) can king crab meat
- 1 can pimento, cut into strips
- 1/4 c. dry sherry
Directions

1Melt butter in large skillet; saute onion until tender.

2Add mushrooms; saute about 2 minutes longer.

3Add flour and salt; stir with wooden spoon until mixture has bubbled, about 1 minute. Slowly add milk, stirring with a wooden spoon.

4Simmer until thickened.

5Add shrimp, crab meat, pimento and sherry.

6Serve over rice, toast points or patty shells.

7Serves 6 to 8.
