- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 green pepper, diced small
- onion
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 2 tsp. sugar
- mushrooms (if you like)
Directions

1Fry bacon and crumble.

2Fry green pepper and onion until tender, but not burned.

3Fry hamburger.

4While you are frying the meat, put rest of the ingredients in a large kettle.

5When everything is fried, mix it all together in the kettle and bring to a boil.

6Cut heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.

7Salt and pepper to taste.
