- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, not drained
- 2 c. catsup or tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne (red) pepper (optional)
- water (add to desired thickness)
Directions

1Brown beef in a large skillet.

2Drain and place in a 4-quart crock-pot.

3Saute onion and bell pepper in skillet until onion is clear.

4Add to crock-pot along with remaining ingredients.

5Mix well.

6Cook on high setting 3 to 4 hours or low setting for 6 to 8 hours.

7This can be frozen and is also good in taco shells.
