Ingredients

  • 3 lb. hamburger (ground chuck)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic or sprinkle garlic salt over meat
  • 3 cans Mexican style kidney beans, mashed
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 6 cans water out of bean can

Directions

    Brown onion and meat, drain off grease.

    Mash beans, add all other ingredients and boil.
  3. 3
    If too thin, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch in a bowl with a top with 6 tablespoons of water, shake well and add to boiling mixture.

    Add some hot ingredients to cornstarch mixture before adding to the whole pot.
