Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • about 1/2 c. sugar to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • 2 cans red kidney beans
  • 1 to 2 cans pinto beans

Directions

    Brown in skillet ground beef.

    Add salt and pepper to taste, chili powder, onion, sugar, ground cloves and tomato juice.

    Mix well and add red kidney beans and pinto beans.

    Simmer about 20 minutes and serve.
