- 1 egg
- 1 c. wheat flour
- 3/4 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 c. (4 oz.) green chilies, chopped and drained
- 2 Tbsp. onions, chopped
Directions

1Mix egg, flour, margarine, cornmeal and chili powder together. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

2Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes.

3Mix remaining ingredients together; spread evenly over baked layer.

4Return to oven for additional 20 minutes.

5When cool, cut into 3 x 1-inch bars.
