Chili Dog Pie

  • 2 1/2 c. baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick Recipease)
  • 3 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
  • 6 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot dogs
  • 2 cans (15 oz. each) chili or 4 c. homemade chili
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Combine baking mix, mustard and water in a small bowl and stir until dough forms.

    With fingertips dipped in baking mix, press dough into bottom and up sides of prepared dish; set aside. Quarter hot dogs by cutting in half lengthwise and again crosswise.

    Place hot dogs on dough.

    Spoon chili over hot dogs. Sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake 20 minutes or until heated through. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
