- 3 lb. onions
- 6 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. fat
- 1 lb. celery, chopped
- 9 qt. kidney beans
- 6 1/2 qt. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 lb. green peppers, chopped
- 3 oz. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 5 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 bottle ketchup
Directions

1Brown onions and meat in fat.

2Add all other ingredients except beans and simmer until thoroughly done.

3Add beans about half-hour before serving time or at least do not cook so long that beans become mushy.

4If mixture seems too thin, you can thicken with gravy thickening.

5Garlic may be added, if desired.
