  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. chili powder or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. macaroni

Directions

    Cook beef, pepper and onion until brown.

    Mix salt, pepper, chili powder, sugar, vinegar and water.

    Stir into meat mixture, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

    Add macaroni; mix well, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

    Serves 8.
