Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans and liquid
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    In large skillet brushed with oil, brown hamburger, onion and pepper.

    Pour off fat.

    Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Top with cheese and heat until melts.
