- 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. elbow macaroni
- 1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans and liquid
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In large skillet brushed with oil, brown hamburger, onion and pepper.

2Pour off fat.

3Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
