  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cans drained kidney beans
  • 2 cans tomatoes and juice
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 to 2 tomato cans water
  • 3/4 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • chili powder to taste

Directions

    Brown ground round and onion.

    Drain excess fat.

    Place in Dutch oven or large pot.

    Add remaining ingredients, breaking up tomatoes.

    Bring to boil.

    Reduce to simmer.

    Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
