Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. tomatoes, crushed
  • 2 c. kidney beans
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni

Directions

    Brown ground beef, bell pepper and onion in skillet.

    Drain grease off.

    Add tomatoes and beans.

    Combine salt, sugar, pepper, chili sauce and tomato juice.

    Stir into meat mixture.

    Add cooked and drained elbow macaroni and mix well.

    Cook on high until boiling then turn down to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
