- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1/2 medium onion (I use flakes)
- 1 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Cook macaroni in boiling water with 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Drain off liquid.

2Meanwhile, brown beef and onion.

3Add tomato juice, brown sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder and cooked macaroni.

4Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.

5Pour into dish and serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
