Ingredients

  • 16 oz bag of elbow noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 14 oz can of tomato or spaghetti sauce
  • 14 oz can of dice tomatoes, I prefer petite
  • 6 oz can of tomato paste
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 clove of fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1 dash of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp olive oil

    Brown ground beef, onions, and bell pepper.

    (Drain set aside)

    Start large pot filled with water.

    With a dash of salt and one tsp of olive oil on medium high.

    In a large pot add one tsp of olive oil and sautee garlic.

    Add the sauce, paste, water, and other other seasonings with garlic.

    Bring pot to soft boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins.

    Add meat and simmer for another 7-10 mins.

    *if sauce thickens add a little more sauce/water

    Add pasta to boiling water and cook until aldente.

    (Drain) add to meat sauce, mix well, and enjoy.
