- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1 c. kidney beans
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/8 tsp. pepper or to taste
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 oz. elbow macaroni
Directions

1Brown ground beef, green pepper and onion in oil in a skillet. Add tomato and kidney beans.

2Combine salt, pepper, chili powder, sugar, vinegar and water.

3Stir into meat mixture.

4Add dry macaroni and mix well.

5Cook on high until steaming freely, then simmer for 40 minutes.
