- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- 2 (1 lb. each) cans pork and beans with tomato sauce
- 1 c. cubed sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Fry bacon in skillet over medium flame until crisp.

2Remove, drain and crumble.

3Pour all but 2 tablespoons of drippings from skillet.

4Add onion and saute about 5 minutes.

5Stir in remaining ingredients and heat, stirring occasionally, until cheese melts. Serve over toast or toasted English muffins.

6Makes 6 to 8 servings.
