Chili Rellenos Bake

Ingredients
- 1 large can (27 oz.) whole green chilies
- 2 c. grated Monterey cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten with 3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- garlic powder to taste
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place a layer of chilies on the bottom. Sprinkle with 1 cup Monterey cheese and 1/4 cup green pepper. Repeat this layer.

2Mix the remaining ingredients except the Cheddar cheese and pour over the casserole.

3Top with the Cheddar cheese. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

4Cool 5 minutes before serving.
