Chili Vegetable Soup

- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 5 large potatoes
- 3 large carrots
- 1 small can green beans
- 1/4 c. bacon grease
- chili powder
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1In large pan cook beans and onion in water and bacon grease until soft.

2Dice potatoes, carrots and green beans and add to pinto beans.

3Brown and drain hamburger.

4Add this and remaining ingredients to beans.

5Cook slowly about 1 1/2 hours.

6Serve with crackers or corn bread.
