Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. chili seasoning
  • 1 can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 pkg. cheddar cheese
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 2 c. Minute rice, uncooked

Directions

    Cook and stir meat, pepper, and seasoning in large skillet on medium heat until meat is brown.

    Stir in water, beans, and tomato sauce.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in corn.

    Return to boil. Stir in rice.

    Cover.

    Remove from heat.

    Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir.

    Top with cheese.
