Ingredients

  • 132 ounces vegetable juice (2 bottles of low-sodium V8)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 32 ounces tomato puree (1 can)
  • 32 ounces crushed tomatoes (1 can)
  • 16 ounces black beans (1 can drained)
  • 16 ounces great northern beans (1 can drained)
  • 16 ounces pinto beans (1 can drained)
  • 32 ounces chili beans (2 cans)
  • 16 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies (1 can)
  • 16 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

    Cook ground meats and garlic in a skillet.

    Drain excess fat/juices.

    In a large crock pot or slow cooker add all ingredients and simmer for one hour stirring occasionally.

    Garnish with shredded cheese and thin slices of jalapeno peppers.
