- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped in large pieces
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped in large pieces
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 c. elbow macaroni, cooked with salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Mix beef, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and oregano in a large skillet; cook slowly.

2When meat appears to be done (approximately 1/2 hour), pour off liquid and add tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili powder.

3Let cook about 20 to 30 minutes longer on a very low heat.

4Add the cooked macaroni into meat mixture. Makes approximately 8 servings.
