- 3 cans whole beets
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. vinegar
- dash of cloves
- dash of salt
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. beet juice
Directions

1If you want to make less, divide everything by three.

2Use a large shallow pan.

3Add all ingredients.

4Discard all juice you don't need.

5Cut all beets into bite size and dump into pan.

6Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.

7Stir all the time until mixture thickens. That's it.

8Keeps well in the fridge for salads.

9Good hot or cold.
