- 1 c. shredded cabbage
- 3/4 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. chopped water chestnuts
- 1/2 c. finely chopped, cooked chicken or pork
- 1/2 c. finely chopped, cooked shrimp
- 4 Tbsp. finely chopped scallions
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 4 Tbsp. soya sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
Directions

1Put celery and cabbage in 1/2 cup water.

2Bring to a boil. Drain thoroughly.

3Heat oil in a large skillet.

4Add shrimp and meat.

5Cook 2 or 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking and stirring until delicately browned.

7Cool.
