- 1 1/2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons red-wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic in oil
- 12 ounces boneless sirloin steak, 3/4 inch thick
Directions

1Combine oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, ginger and garlic.

2Trim the external fat from the beef and cut into slices 3/4 inch thick.

3Marinate beef in mixture until it is time to cook it.

4Remove steaks from marinade and reserve the marinade.

5Prepare stove-top grill or preheat broiler.

6Grill or broil beef about 5 minutes, turning once or twice and brushing with marinade each time.
