- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. ground, toasted pecans or almonds
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Combine the first 8 ingredients; shape into 1-inch balls. Dredge meatballs in 1/2 cup cornstarch.

2Pour oil into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Add meatballs; bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Drain and set aside.
