Chinese Rice Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. green pepper, diced
  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 1 can mushroom pcs (4 ounce.) drain & reserve liquid
  • 1 1/4 c. uncooked minute rice
  • Dash of salt & pepper
  • Garlic pwdr to taste
  • 1/4 jar LaChoy brown gravy
  • 3/4 of a sm. bottle soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. chicken soup or possibly 1 chicken bouillon cube; dissolve in 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. boiled water plus liquid from mushrooms

Directions

    Saute/fry vegetables.

    Add in mushrooms, rice, spices and sauces.

    Add in boiled liquids and cover pan.

    Cook over low heat till done, about 5-10 min.
