- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 pkg. Lipton chicken noodle soup (dry mix)
- 1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 lb. sausage (medium)
- 1/2 c. Comet rice (raw)
- 1 small jar pimento
Directions

1Cook sausage and drain.

2Saute vegetables in sausage grease. Add chicken soup and rice to 4 1/2 cups boiling water.

3Cook 7 minutes.

4Add to all other ingredients.

5Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375° in a 9 x 13-inch pan (30 minutes covered and 15 minutes, uncovered).

6No salt or pepper needed.
