Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 c. chopped nuts, divided

Directions

    In large mixing bowl, combine margarine, sugar, eggs, baking powder, salt, vanilla, flour and instant coffee.

    On low speed, mix until well blended.

    Stir in 1/2 cup nuts and 3 ounces of chocolate chips.

    Spread mixture evenly on greased 10 x 15 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

    Sprinkle with remaining nuts and chips. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cool.
