Choc-Orange Philly Snails

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups self raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 30g butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 125g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 2 TERRY'S* Chocolate Orange bars, finely chopped
  • Icing
  • 1/2 cup jam ( marmalade or apricot)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.

    Rub in butter.
  3. 3
    Stir in enough milk to form a sticky dough.
  4. 4
    Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth.

    Roll dough into a 17 x 30cm rectangle, spread with Philly* and sprinkle with chocolate.

    Roll up on the longest side, like a Swiss roll, to form a sausage.

    Slice roll into 3 cm slices and place on lined baking trays.

    Bake at 200C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    Brush with glaze.

    GLAZE: Combine jam and water in a small saucepan until heated through.
