Choco-Caramel Squares

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
  • 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Combine cake mix, oleo, evaporated milk and chopped nuts. Press 1/2 of the mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

    Pour melted Caramel Sauce over top. Crumble remaining cake mixture over and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
