  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/2 c. sweet butter, at room temperature
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, salt and confectioners sugar; beat with an electric mixer on low speed until combined.

    Add egg yolks one at a time.

    Add flour little by little to the butter mixture, beating with a wooden spoon.

    Add chocolate chips and crushed corn flakes.

    Drop dough by heaping tablespoons on baking sheet.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 5 minutes. Take out from oven and flatten the cookies using the back of a spoon and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.

    Take out and cool on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes.

    Makes 10 to 12 large cookies, 3 inches in diameter.
