- 3/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup baking cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter milk
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar.

4Add sour cream and extracts; mix well.

5Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.

6Pour into a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan.

7Bake at 350° for 50 - 55 minutes or until cake tests done.

8Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.
