- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. uncooked rolled oats
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt chocolate and margarine in top of double boiler over boiling water.

2Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly in greased 8-inch square pan and sprinkle with nuts.

3Bake in hot oven (400°) for 12 minutes or until brown. Cool on cake rack.
