  • 2 1/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 9/16 cup butter melted and cooled
  • 3 eggs at room temperature
  • 3 beets boiled and pureed
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

    Grease and flour a high-sided loaf pan, or similar.

    Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.

    Pour into greased and floured pan.

    Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.

    To serve, dust with powdered sugar
