  • 1/2 c. very hot water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and cook to a soft ball stage.

    Cool and beat until creamy.

    Put first layer of frosting on cake real thin.

    When frosting is spreadable, finish spreading on cake.
