Chocolate Brownie Pie

- 3 sq. baking chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt baking chocolate and let stand to cool.

2Beat eggs until very light.

3Cream butter.

4Gradually add sugar to the butter, beating until light and fluffy.

5Sift flour and salt together; set aside.

6Add the cooled chocolate and the eggs to the creamed mixture.

7Mix well.

8Alternately add flour mixture and milk (to which the vanilla has been added).

9Stir in nuts.

10Pour into a greased 9-inch pie pan.

11Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes.

12Serve with ice cream, if desired.
