- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 c. pecans (optional)
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix margarine and cocoa in saucepan.

2Cool after well blended.

3Beat eggs in separate bowl and add cocoa mixture.

4Add sugar, flour, flavoring and salt and mix well.

5Add nuts; mix well.

6Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.

8Cool and cut into squares.
